Lexmark is committed to environmental sustainability by implementing a range of eco-friendly practices throughout the print lifecycle. They produce devices using materials from sustainable sources, aiming to minimize environmental impact. Lexmark's goal is to become carbon neutral across all operations by 2035, having already reduced GHG emissions significantly since 2015. They incorporate long-life imaging components in their print systems to save resources, reduce waste, and lower maintenance costs. Additionally, Lexmark has a high percentage of post-consumer recycled (PCR) content in their devices, currently offering the highest number of printer models with significant PCR content in the industry. Their services like Cloud Print Management help save energy, and programs like the Lexmark Cartridge Collection Programme (LCCP) facilitate the recycling of toner cartridges, promoting a circular economy

Kyocera showcases its commitment to environmental sustainability through their 'Green Products' initiative, focusing on climate change prevention, energy conservation, resource recycling, and reducing hazardous substances. They hold ISO 14001 certification, reflecting their long-term dedication to environmental management. Kyocera promotes recycling through programs that recover nearly all resources and encourages the recycling of products like toner containers to minimize waste. Their manufacturing processes use recycled materials, purify water, and incorporate solar energy, aligning with their vision of sustainable development and the motto, "Respect the Divine and Love People.".
